•   Batchelor of Science in Forestry, 1980

•   More than 20 years logging, with more than 10 as
proprietor of MFS

•  1997 Outstanding Logger award for Pennsylvania

•  More than 3 years as manager of logger training  
programs for Pennsylvania Sustainable Forestry
Initiative

•  2004 met criteria for SFI of PA  Master Logger
